COUNTRY STYLE BARBECUE PORK RIBS | |
1 1/2 to 2 lb. country style pork ribs 1 large (or 2 small bottles) Sweet Baby Rays honey BBQ sauce 1 very large Vidalia onion salt and pepper, to taste your favorite meat/pork seasoning (McCormick's Montreal steak is good Coarsely chop onion. Place onion, meat, salt, pepper and other seasoning in a large pot of water over medium heat. Cook for 3 hours or until meat is tender enough for your tastes. Strain water using a colander. Remove excess fat and bones from meat. Place in a large oven pan and cover completely with one full bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's honey BBQ sauce. Cook in oven at 375°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until the sauces cooks into the meat. Do not overcook! Variation: This is also a great pulled pork if you pull the meat apart after it has been boiled.
