PEANUT BUTTER & HONEY ENGLISH
MUFFIN

Although I first made this recipe for my husband 35 years ago when he wanted a dessert; it also makes a great healthy lunch snack for the children. My grandson does not like honey, so I use maple syrup. It is his favorite dessert and/or meal. Of course toasted bread can be substituted for English muffins.

English muffins
peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
honey

To make six dessert servings - use three English muffins. Split the three muffins to get six slices; toast them so they are crispy (not burned). Spread a thick layer of peanut butter on each toasted muffin slice. Drizzle honey on the peanut butter, using a butter knife to cut the honey into the peanut butter. Enjoy!

Makes 6 servings.
