CINNAMON CHICKEN | |
1/4 c. sherry 2 tbsp. honey 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 garlic clove, crushed Salt and pepper to taste 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1 1/2 lbs. frying chicken (cut up) Blend together first 6 ingredients. Pour over chicken. Let marinate, covered, 6 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Preheat broiler. Cook chicken about 3 inches form heat, turning once, until done to your taste, 20-30 minutes. The white meat will cook faster than the dark. Serves 2. |
