BLACK FOREST DUMP CAKE 
1 can cherry pie filling
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 box devil's food cake mix
2 sticks butter (slice lengthwise in 4 pieces)

Spread pie filling in greased 9x13 pan. Spread chips on top of pie filling. Spread evenly dry cake mix over chips. Slice butter and arrange evenly over the cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve warm or cold with Cool Whip.

Next time I make this I'll use two cans of cherry pie filling. One can wasn't enough fruit for a whole box of cake mix so it was a bit dry. I also added a handful of sweetened shredded coconut to the cherry filling.

Really good. I added to top of butter about 1/2 cup of sliced almonds before baking. It really added a nice little surprise and crunch.

Loved it, served it at a small gathering....using 2 cans of cherry filling needed more I think, but all in all it was very good! Love the ease of it. One in the oven for work right now.
